In the heart of the Mercantour Massif, the ski resort Isola 2000 is a mecca for winter sports. Only 90 km from Nice, the family resort is easily accessible from the coast.
The good plan: book in advance a low cost flight to Nice and then board one of the direct and very cheap shuttles that take you directly from the airport to the slopes. Ideal for a cheap ski weekend.
Built on land sold by Italy to France, the estate is divided into two valleys: the Lombard slope and the Méné slope. You will be able to hurtle down the 120 km of slopes under a bright sunshine. The resort is known to be sunny every day. Its southern atmosphere will invite you to enjoy the many sunny terraces. The opportunity also to test the driving circuit on ice.
